Katrina Kaif is the one among the most attractive Bollywood actress of the recent times.Blessed with a brilliant smile,stunning good looks and an impeccable sense of style.She started her career in Bollywood industry by appearing in "Boom" as a model getting caught up with underworld.Though the film was a flop people couldn't easily forget her angelic face and voluptuous figure.


Katrina Kaif is half Indian and half British.Her father is an NRI ,Kashmiri and her mother is an English.This make her poor at Hindi, initially critics were very harsh on her for poor hindi.But she worked hard on hindi and get herself trained in dance class which was essential to survive in the industry.On talking about her hindi she told that " I can read and speak hindi quite well now and that quites an acheivement considering I didn't know the language at all when i came down here".



Kat was born in Hong Kong on July 16 1984, one of the eight siblings.She was brought up in Hawali and later she shifted to London at the age of 14 for modelling.Professionally she started of as a model with photographer Atul kasbekar,and upon being accepted she got offers from LG,Cola,Fevicol,Pantene,Kodak,L'Oreal and Veet.It was Lakme That make her commercially noticed.She was chosen as the Face of the year for Lakme India Fashion Week.Soon Kaizad Gustad, the director of Boom noticed her and offered her role in the film.Since it was the role of model she promptly agreed.



Moving to different culture and country was not much a culture shock for her, as she states that no matter where you come from the bottom line is everyone wants to be loved,respected and cared for.Unlike other artist from foreign lands she didnt experience any difficulty in getting visa and get it extended in india.
